Sandwich Runs
Timings and Booking Your Slot!
Our Sandwich Runs currently run on the following days for Semester 1, 2025-26, during term time:

Wednesdays 5pm - 6pm

Sundays 1pm - 2pm
If there are no slots available, make sure to join our WhatsApp group or stay tuned on our socials to get notified when new slots are open!
What Happens at the Sandwich Runs?
On the Sandwich Runs our volunteers distribute food and essential supplies to the people sleeping on the streets of Leeds. In the winter months, we also provide much-needed hot drinks and soup, as well as cold weather clothing.
You can sign up to volunteer by booking a place online. Then, all you need to do is meet our Sandwich Run Coordinator outside of the Parkinson building. They will provide sandwiches, and look after the group at all times. All you need to bring is yourself, and a smile!
On Wednesdays we have a social at Old Bar @ LUU at the end of the Sandwich Run (but you're welcome to join if you didn't come to the Sandwich Run as well)! Come along for a chat and a drink!
We always appreciate any donations to distribute on our runs. Please get in touch if you are able to offer any of the following:

Long-life snacks e.g. crisps, cereal bars, biscuits

Bottled water or other long-life drinks
-
Warm clothing accessories e.g. gloves, hats, scarves

Any surplus food to be collected and distributed on Wednesdays and Sundays
